Classic!

So, classic just launched, technically yesterday, it's midnight here and I wanted to make a quick post. I was in a queue of over 6k people and somehow got in within the first five minutes. I had to log out for a few and hopped on later to try to play but the lag is so terrible that I couldn't even play. Things will settle down in time. My son has gotten quite a bit ahead of me but maybe I can catch up tomorrow! It is quite annoying not to be able to really play but it is nice to see classic WoW so well received. I actually just started back on the new content with retail and have been having fun with that, so it is something else to do for now. I'm on the Pagle server, my son and bother are playing there, but I have been thinking of trying a low pop server, lol. Sharing a few shots of how packed it was at release. Wish I had more to share! If you're playing, hopefully you're having more fun than I have been able to!

June Already!

A few weeks ago I wrote a nice long post about the City of Heroes Homecoming server and then poof it went, the post didn't save and I just never got around to writing it again. The blog has gotten dusty, I've been really lacking in energy and it has gotten worse recently. And thus after passing out, waking up to the sound of my son running towards me while I had my face planted in the floor, Dire took me to the doctors. Turns out I have a minor heart issue going on. We're not sure what it is, most likely due to me being anemic, we'll know more next week. TMI probably but for years I  took a lot of effort and tried to focus on blogging here-- But stress and life just sucked all my energy to the point where I have not felt much like writing anything. I'd like to pick up and have that focus again, I miss it. If you're still here reading, thank you, as always. *Dusts off the blog as well as herself*

WoW, Nostalgic Shots

Making my way through some nostalgic zones in old world WoW. While I think classic will be a lot of fun when it releases, sometimes it is just nice to go wandering around on an alt. It's familiar territory and better on some classes than others with all the changes to leveling and scaling of zones.

Allied Races Thoughts

Allied races have come to World of Warcraft! Right on the heels of unlocking flying the races were released on the day we moved into our new place. Dire and I managed to Pre-Order and finish up the achievement we needed for Nightborne.

Play Log: Wildstar, WoW, GW2

I just love my house in Wildstar :)

So, I missed the last day for Vanguard. Real life interfered. I felt so bad! I am glad that I did log in and get a chance to take some last screens, my only regret is not getting to take pictures of all the players saying good bye. Nobody was anywhere to be seen days before. I will always have a lot of nice memories of the game. Many wishes of what could have been. It will surely be missed.

I have about a week of playtime left on Wildstar. So far I've played my stalker up to 22 and made a new warrior on the Dominion to 17. I wanted to check out the other faction's city, see how things were over there. Overall I think the questing is simply smoother and a far more enjoyable experience overall. Then again had I picked a different starting area for my Exile I might have enjoyed it more. I have to say I lean towards the Exile simply because that's where the population is.

Clo Gets Her (Epic) Wings!

Look ma', no hands!

You know how it is, flying around on your 150% speed mount and here comes this person zooming past your 'old clunker' making you feel so slow, laughing as you choke in their dust. The nerve!

I've been saving up for epic flying since being back. I had a nice chunk saved up previously but helped Dire with some money for his hog. Clo has always gotten passed by on getting an epic flier and I figured it was due time she had one!

I had most of it saved up and a good friend offered me a loan which was very cool. Hopefully I will make it back this week to pay him and start saving for Cataclysm! It's good to have a fast mount again.

I've been wondering when the announcement would be made about the six year anniversary and it's currently up. I am wondering what pet we will get this year!

Today my little kitty, Tut, is sick and has to go to the vet so that's it for me for now.
