Fun and Free MMOs!

Hello again! Last time I spoke about free vs subscription. Whats out there that can compete with subscription based games? I could spend all day listing them hehe so just some of my faves. If you are looking for a good free MMO you have come to the right place for some ideas!

So what are my favorite free mmorpgs?

This is just a run down on some of the free mmorpgs I thought were some of the best out there when it comes to free. They are in no real order, each will just have a rating on different aspects of the game which are medium high and low.  The overall game rating scale is 1-10. I'll throw out a few pros and cons about the games also to give an idea what it is more or so like.

All of these games can be found in the Free Mmorpg links.

Lets get started!

Perfect World

Pros- This game I really had a lot of fun with and stuck to for awhile. The graphics are really top quality, really beautiful characters and scenery. The classes were fun to play and had neat abilities. Mounts were very neat, flying mounts at that. One race could even fly with wings which was a very cool ability! This game offers a cash shop also. I never purchased anything but there were a lot of cool things in there.

Cons- This game had quests but it seemed at some point you were grinding or just doing the same few quests over and over to get through many levels. It got quite boring at times.

Auction/seller option in this game required you to be logged in with a "trader" set up. So if you wanted to buy something you either ran from trader to trader in the different cities or spam WTB *item*.

PvP on all servers at level 30. This annoys me, when I am trying to level I don't like being interrupted. Enough said.

Game Rating: 5

Play Ability- Low] due to the grind factor

Interface- High] Easy to use

Graphics- High] Fantastic quality

Sound- High- High ]Very easy going nice music

Performance/Lag- High]  Had no issues

Fun factor long term- Low] After all the glitter and glam of the game, there wasn't much depth.

Community- Low] It was just sort of Bleh. Not the worst one out there though.

Free Realms

Pros- A very laid back game. No pressure on leveling. There are many many classes to level from Warrior to Blacksmith. I really had a lot of fun trying them all out. The game is very lovely, with a toon like look. No need for mounts as travel to any city is a click away on the map. Each class has different gear/outfits. It offers subscription and cash shop options and subscription option. You can run an instance alone or with a group which is nice also.

Cons- No real high end. It's just a game to log into and have some fun, nothing more nothing less (which really isn't a con I suppose). It is suppose to be aimed at tweens but some of the content is kind of hard like the tower games. I spent hrmm lets now say how long lol.. just too long at the penguin tower game just to finish it on all three modes. The combat classes level much slower than the others like cooking, pet training.. ect. It is a grind doing instances over and over either solo or with a group. And filters.. meh you can't even say most numbers such as 1234567890. Yeah that gets annoying. You can't even spell them. One will have to be typed won.. Also no trader option :(

Game Rating: 7

Play Ability- High] It is really a great game to log in when you just want to have fun and mess around.

Interface- High] Very easy to use

Graphics- High] Fantastic quality

Sound- Medium] Nice music but at times it is like something froma  playschool commercial.

Performance/Lag- Low] I had zero problems with this game personally. BUT a huge complaint I saw from the community was lag and problems soing timed quests. I think this stems from it being a "browser based" game. The simple "ol' family computer" might have problems running it sadly.

Fun factor long term- Medium] It all depends on what you find fun. For me I find it fun here and there. Honestly though I don't play it anymore.

Community- Medium] There are some really nice guilds out there, the forums seem decent. But you do have a lot of kids running around throwing up random invites to groups and guilds heh.

Requiem:Bloodymare

I highly recommend this one if you want to try something different!

Pros- This is a horror type mature rated game. It really has a unique feel to it. I liked the looks and feel. When you get low on health you get bloody and gory.. all splattered with blood! Lots of spashes of blood and carnage upon killing mobs. Several different races to choose from with very cool looking characters. This too offers a cash shop.

Cons- The biggest con I suppose would be it kind of gets to be a grind at some point too, repeating quests over and over to get levels sometimes. While being a horror game is wasn't too scary really. More gory. It was still nice though.

Game Rating: 8

Play Ability- Medium]  Due to the grind factor

Interface- Medium] Easy to use

Graphics- High:  Fantastic quality

Sound- High: Medium] Nice

Performance/Lag- High] Ran smoothly

Fun factor long term- Medium] Higher up when the characters get more detailed it becomes more fun.

Community- Medium] It seemed the normal mmorpg community

Runes of Magic

One of the best out there if you are looking for a good free one.

Pros- This game has mounts which is nice. Cash shop. The characters are really fun to play. A large variety of hairstyles and faces to pick from. Nice looking characters and gear. The world was very nice to look at also. Tons of quests! They offer expansions, content patches for high end also. This month they are releasing the new expansion with new areas and a new race/class! I still have yet to get into it, I am waiting on the expansion though; I want to be an elf. This game offers an auction house and player housing!

Cons- The biggest is the cash shop. To get a permanent mount you have to buy it from the cash shop or you can just use the 3hr or 15min mounts. Vanity pets.. I was like yay.. till I found out you buy them and they have a duration on them :( Other than that I really found it a well rounded game for being free and you don't have to use the cash shop unless you really want to.

Game Rating: 9

Play Ability- High]  Tons of quests and content to keep you busy

Interface- High] Easy to use

Graphics- High:  Nice graphics, this game is often compared to WoW

Sound- High: Medium] Nice sounds

Performance/Lag- High] Ran smoothly

Fun factor long term- High] Higher up when the characters get more detailed it becomes more fun.

Community- Medium] It seemed the normal mmorpg community

Dungeon Runners

Pros- Fun fast paced mmorpg to log into. You get tons of gear. This is Diablo meets WoW. Nice toony graphics. The game has a comical aspect, from the quests to the gear. It is a lighthearted fun game. A real good hack and slash dungeon crawler. A very fun game to play!

Cons- Burn out factor is high after awhile of running dungeon after dungeon or even multiple levels and doing them over if you forgot something in there. No healer classes, just chugging potion after endless potion. No auto attack, after holding attack button down through a dungeon.. it can make your hand cramp heh. Also no trader/auction option in this game.

Game Rating: 9

Play Ability- High]  It really is a lot of fun to go slaughter foes in this game

Interface- High] Easy to use

Graphics- High:  Nice graphics, this game is often compared to WoW as well b/c of the toon look

Sound- High: Medium] Nice sounds

Performance/Lag- High] Ran very well

Fun factor long term- Low]How many dungeons can you run with tons of mobs rushing at you before you get bored...

Community- High] It seemed the normal mmorpg community. On a side note the Developers are very in tune with the community and often seen in game chat. Just because they are so hands on I give this community a high rating.

Ether Saga

Pros- This game is just so cute! I really liked the cute look it has. the characters were very fun to play and look at. You also get pets that help you in combat.. this is a sweet feature. At level 10 there is a quest to get a cloud to fly on! Many quests to work on. Trader option to set up a trader with this game also.

Cons- The flying mounts were limited in the aspect that they ran off of the characters (think it was) mana. Once it ran out you were dismounted :( It just kind of got boring after awhile, the game just doesn't seem to have much direction at the lower levels.

Game Rating: 7

Play Ability- High]  Tons of quests and content to keep you busy

Interface- High] Easy to use

Graphics- High] Great looking game

Sound- High- Medium] Sounded good

Performance/Lag- High] Ran smoothly

Fun factor long term- Low] Just seems to get boring at a point

Community- Medium] It seemed the normal mmorpg community

So those are probably the ones I've had the most fun with. Mythos would be up there too had it not went under.

Some others I can reccomend that I have yet to play but haveheard raves about would be :

Atlantica Online-  This one has gotten some great reviews. It's on my to do list ;)

Wizzard 101- I briefly tried it but need to check it out further. Very popular game too.

So there ya have it, my current top picks for the FTP MMORPGs!

Whats your poison? To pay or not to pay, for a MMO?

To pay or not to pay?

Today I was thinking about the many MMORPGs I have played. With so many available today with free to play and subscription based there really are tons of games out there. But in the end do  you really end up paying? I've asked myself that and weighed the monthly subscriptions vs free games. What really keeps players interested in the long haul?

So far this year I have re-subbed to Everquest, Everquest2. Tried AoC and War Hammer. Several free games such as Free Realms, Ether Saga and Runes of Magic just to name a few.

I love trying out new games, a whole new world to explore, new classes and races to play. But if there is nothing at the top it can really feel like "whats the point?" Grinding out level upon level you expect there to be a goal at the end, things to work to right?

Free vs Subscription.

I often find myself trying out the latest neat looking free to play mmorpg. At times I get roped into wanting to purchase a cool mount or item in the cash shop. Honestly when I sit and think about it for all those cool things I could buy.. I could just play a subscription game and get those type of things in the long run.

Ether Saga hooked me in on the cash shop as well as Free Realms. Ether Saga's cash shop seemed to me very expensive and the amount of in game money you got for cash was misleading. Making most good items about 10$ real cash. I was not up for that.. come on I was just wanting to get a new outfit! It didn't even have stats. So I just was soured upon that.

Free Realms had many cool things but some of them you could only use if you had a subscription too! Meh.. that sort of put me off. But it wasn't that bad I suppose. You can still play a lot of the content in this game w/o a subscription but many of the classes are locked out to the player. So really Free Realms felt not so free in the end.

Coolness Factor. Ok so maybe I don't want to play a MMORPG just b/c it is free, but because it looks so much fun! Ok so you don't have to buy any of those cash items. I have tried ftp (free to play) games and not bought a single thing. But when the coolness wears off it seems there are things that I find I don't like. Such as Perfect World- PvP is forced upon you at 30. You are going to get ganked, no doubt about it. Even if you do not wish to PvP ever. There were no PvE servers. Or in a few it seems at high end there was just not much there in the end :(

Free with option to pay. Two examples of this would be Dungeon Runners and Free Realms. Dungeon Runners was like WoW meets Diablo. It was really tons of fun when I started. I just got tired of running the same dungeons over and over. They had the option to pay and use subscription gear and a few other perks. It wasn't game breaking so either way it was still fun.

Free Realms is pretty much the same. Fun but you could add some bling with the cash shop or just enhance yourself a bit with cash shop weapons/gear. Pets.. oh they were so cute you wanted to buy one. Several required a subscription even after purchase.. like the ghost dog or cat. But did you really need to subscribe? Well if you wanted to play most of the classes available, yes.  Some mini games also required a subscription.

Subscription with cash shop.

S.O.E. (Sony Online Entertainment), has inter-graded this into a lot of their games. Many people were angry when Everquest and Everquest2 added the cash shop and the Legends of Norrath online TCG.

LoN have loot cards that range from in-game titles,  illusions, potions, pets.. ect ect. People felt this took away from the game. Who wouldn't want a vanity pet that adds stats or in-game effects? But not everyone wanted to pay money for one on top of a subscription.

Next comes the cash shop. Both EQ, FR, and EQ2 offer cash shops on top of subscription. While I honestly loved some of the items.. I didn't always want to pay extra on top of that subscription for an item. But it was the only way to get the item.. kind of sucks you in. My husband prefers I stay away from these types of games :p

Monthly Subscription. No Strings attached.

This in my idea would be games more like WoW, AoC, and War Hammer. You play it, you work on the character, you have the option  get everything offered to everyone as long as you take the time to work at it. This honestly is how I like it. WoW has the TCG loot but nothing there really is something I lose sleep over really b/c there are so many cool things already available to players.

But at the same time, these can get boring waiting on new content at the same time because they can be so streamlined.

Playability in the long run and high end.

If you are like me, you want something to make the game fun in the long run. May it be raids, dungeons, pvp (with goals/rewards) or just more phat lewt!

Do many of these games offer much high end? Honestly I can't say for sure what most of the free ones offer b/c after the candy coating starts to wear off.. I get bored and move onto something else.

The games you actually pay a subscription, well they want you to keep paying those subscriptions and they cater to the long term player. They do have the steady income to keep working on more more more.

In the end it's all about fun.

I am not bashing or playing favorites to any of these games. Honestly I am glad there are so many out there in the free genre. I was really sad when Mythos went under (look em up on twitter, seems they might ressurect the game!), it was such a neat game.

I get bored more easily these days it seems so it is fun to try out different things. Those are just some thoughts on free vs subscription.

I think it is great that the options are out there now for both. I remember when I started Everquest I had looked for a free game beforehand and I was sad to find there were none out there that didn't look like a Zelda rip off lol. That was nine years ago and now there are sooo many it's really nice to see them out there.

Really anything that you find fun is worth it if you are enjoying it. So what do you find fun?

I'm still trying to figure it out today ;)

This week I'll be putting a top free to play mmorpg list up, I will be doing some reviews on several this month but first I'll give a basic review on the top ones I think are worth it. Next month will have more subscription based reviews.

Till Next time!

Age of Conan: First Impressions.

Strap on your most outlandish Conan ensemble and lets take a trip to Hyboria!

Today I'm going to go over some of my adventures I've had so far in the world of Hyboria. I cannot speak for high end in this game or PvP but we will get to that later. This is a glance into the world of AoC.

I've put off trying this game for quite some time. I really have always been a huge Conan fan. I think what put me off to begin with was the mature theme, I figured it would be cheesey and pretty much be a very shallow game. That said, it's not my impression after trying it.

Classes-

I wanted to get a feel for the archetypes, rogue, priest, mage and soldier. So I tried each of these out for a bit. So to begin with I will go over my impressions of each and how they feel with combat basically just a brief overview generalizing them in those trees. I would like to try each class out and I am sure I will eventually but that is for another time ;) I just simply at this point don't have it in me to play up each class to tell about it.

The Soldier: These classes seemed strong, good to start out with once you get an understanding of combat. There are combos to you can work out with the abilities the classes get. They were pretty powerful and fun. What I did not like was there basically is no auto attack, you have to keep hitting keys to make sure you keep attacking. However at times you can hit multiple mobs as well as the one you are attacking which was pretty cool.

Rogue: This was pretty much starting out very much like the Soldier but they didn't feel like they could take a beating as well. From what I gather these classes can dish out some damage but require a lot of attention to each fight.

Priest: I did not get high enough on a healing class to see how well they do but I also take it from reading up- while not being the fastest killing they can take on a lot. I just simply felt at this point I wasn't into leveling one up. I do want to work on one as my next class. I've been leaning away from healers recently as I've played them way too long. (HOLY PALADIN ON HIATUS!! Retired EQ cleric... you get my drift?!)

Mage: I really wanted to try play a caster in this game from what I read of them. They really did seem like they had potential to be really fun. All of these classes sounded awesome. I was sort of let down the demonoligist pets more or less seem to just follow you around, but I will have to play mine higher to see how well they work. The Herald of Xotli which was a melee/caster hybrid could be quite fun. The Necromancer was what got me though. The class was pretty strong to begin with and then it was "I CAN HAS MINIONS!" Which was pretty neat. Getting more than one pet and pets that proc on certain spells was too cool. So this seemes to be the class I will work on the most as it has been the most fun so far IMO.

Combat! - Ok so now that we have what I thought briefly on the classes lets talk about combat! I think the casters are pretty fun but the melee is a bit annoying at times. It is definitely a system to get use to, although it is not hard at all. Just having to constantly hit moves was sort getting use to.. at times I was thinking I could auto attack and then doh ... I need to keep hitting these keys! *Grabs coffee while spamming keys* You have three arrows which are to each side and overhead to attack with and these tie in with combos. Combos show up above the ability bar so you can't miss them unless you are just not paying any attention at all. Combos tie in with abilities.

Sound- This game has some really great music. The quest givers can get annoying imo but that's just part of the game.. a big part heh. Other than that the music is really so nice I didn't bother turning it off like I do on most games.

Interface- The interface is easy to access and use. It also has a built in "Quest Helper".  It really helped with direction with all the quests I revived upon reaching the first town. If I had to figure out where all that stuff was it probably would not have been as much fun. The quests are colors according to level range much like in any other games. Grey to red.. you get the picture. So I will have to say this game has a great interface, mini map and all just because of the ease of getting use to it.

Graphics- Ooo-lala. The characters are very pretty. Very detailed. When I logged in my first female character I though "I'm a Barbie girl in a Conan world".  They did a great job on going for realism, the gear is very realistic. The world was very realistic, I am not really one for realism in games but it was a nice change. Very detailed, I felt as if somewhere you really could go to IRL. I'm going to Hyboria on my vacation next year ;) The water is fantastic, it made me want to go swimming :p Very nice graphics overall for the genre.

Characters movements were at times clunky, but overall they looked good being clunky so no big deal right? I really liked the feel on the gear, it was unlike anything else I've ever played. Real while being fantastically unlike anything you would wear in this day and age or in other mmorpgs!

Performance? Although I do not have settings ALL the way up I have them cranked up pretty high. Currently I have shadows off, if I use them I keep them on low. That is with any game though... that's always a big resource hog. It runs smoothly. Lag? Not really, every game has lag spikes and I have not noticed anything worth mentioning.

Just for an idea I'm running this on:

GForce 8600 GT

Dual Processing P4 @ 3.06 GHZ

2 gigs of ram

That's what she said!

General Game play - Questing was more or less the same as other games which was fine with me. The only thing that was really different was the quest dialogue was in sort of a "cut scene" so you still could get attacked while going through it. You had the option to click through it quickly at least.

With low level casting taking on a few mobs could be hard as you got interrupted easily still at this point.

Pets... while they are so very sweet it seems the caster gets the hate they generate. So while the caster is casting they still get beat on while the pets wailed away on the mobs. They also were kind of "dumb pets" you could set them to assist, follow, defend ect.. but you could not say "Go attack!" sadly. I suppose there is an option to have them attack what you target but that gets kind of dangerous,. That option I did not try so I am guessing here on this last pet option. As I said I am still learning. After playing around more I noticed there is a small button to have pets attack over the character's health bar. Doh wish I had seen it sooner, I'm blind =p

Stop picking or it will never heal!

The summoned pets at times would just poof while running around town. They seemed afraid of water :( they died once while I swam arcross a pool of water. "Guys come on in the water is fine!" I was replied with a moan and then they keeled over and died at the edge.. hrmm ok not big on swimming I guess.

No game is perfect though.

Character dances were also pretty cute, you can do different moves and link them together which is pretty sweet. Dance off! Conan Style! Don't shoot me /duck.

Instances, there was a quest line that put me in town at night, which I was the only one in that "instance" of the town. Regular instances seemed much like Everquest or DAoC, you zone in and see other players also there with you. There was a normal and Epic option for each I had zoned into. Pretty cool.

My thoughts overall..

The game is different than the fantasy genre I am generally into. It is more realistic, but it has been a very nice change. Refreshing. It seems the game has much potential to be fun long term. I saw people running around all over which was nice.

I can't say much for the community.. I did not see nearly as much crap in the chat channels as other games. It could be there, I don't know at this point. I also played on a PvE server so.. I think the real brutes probably are not on the care-bear servers heh.

Is it something to play long term? I think it could be. I will definitely keep playing it the duration of the first month. After that it depends on how it pans out at that point as a fun factor.

PvP seems like it could be messy. I will have to try it out to see, but as seeing the combat it is something that you really would have to pay much attention to each little detail in this aspect I would think. I could be wrong... but just from the combat feeling it has.. it's already kind of hectic there. Plus with Free for all PvP woo!

The classes seem to get a LOT more fun as you level. They are quite dull to start out with. More dull than most games honestly. But seeing some of the high end players and what they can so, it looks like a great deal of fun. This game reminds me of DAoC in many aspects.. but with better features.

Come on in guys, the water is fine!

The good the bad and the unpolished.

Would recommend this game to others? At this point sure. Polish? It lacks polish in a lot of areas.  Starting over is a pain as you have to go through the intro each time.. come on let us use the esc to get out of that. I counted SIX clicks to get past upon logging in, that includes the game opening cinematic upon logging in every time. Loading.. yikes it takes quite awhile to log in and zone. Scan upon every log in was quite annoying. It felt like logging into Eq almost.

But as I said no game is perfect. It has been fun and while it continues to be fun for me I will keep playing and see how it goes.

Hope this gives you some insight if you are chewing it over on trying it out.I had a hard time really trying to figure out if it was worth it. It got a lot of bad review honestly but I am always one to try things for myself. It was not what it was thought to be upon release, but they are working on it and it seems to be getting much better.

See ya on the flip side.

Waiting around on Cataclysm.. bored to tears? (World of Warcraft)

"I believe I can fly... In Azeroth."
With the news of World of Warcraft's next expansion Cataclysm, it seems everyone is very excited about the new content and races. I didn't get to go to Blizzcon or stream it but thanks to MMO Champion and WoW.com I got to see much of the info as it was reported in on these sites. Which was very exciting :D Those guys did a great job sharing everything with us!

Two new races, new levels, professions, and all that fun stuff! I think Blizzard has seen that people want new content sooner than they previously have put out.

Question is how soon will it come out? I find myself bored even to log in and do dailys lately. I think a big part of that for me is finding a good guild, the community is kind of crap so pugging groups can be a nightmare. But that's just b/c I know the new expansion is coming out.. It always happens to me, I go in cycles. I get bored to tears waiting on new stuff... then when it comes out it is like christmas!

Currently waiting on my family to start playing again, it always gets dull when people you play with leave. I raided up to the new ToC, then my guild got stupid so I left, w/o raiding not much else fun to do atm. But I'll look for another guild one of these days. I do think many other players are getting bored too.

With the new races and race change- alliance to horde changes there's a lot of possibilities on changing up things, instead of starting over as a new race this time. I'm looking forward to the archeology prof, something else to do.. other than daily's upon daily's raids and more heroics..

The worgen idea is fantastic. They can be human form ooc (out of combat), and worgen in combat. That is just too cool. Goblins are cool too but seriously how many green races does the horde need? I will have to wait to see more about them I suppose. They are cool though I will say that.

So with the new changes inc to stats, it sort of feels almost like gearing up more so is just kind of not as important. I really just want to do a /facepalm when I hear all the complaints on the WoW forums about the changes to stats. People don't get why they are reverting redundant stats... Anyhow, I would like to see the new instance in the new patch but.. really atm I am just burnt out and cutting the play time down till then.

I really do wish there were more options at 80 to work on besides heroics heroics raiding and more raiding some days. I find myself at times missing the aa (alternate advancement) system of Everquest. Just for something else to work on.

What to do till then... I have three 80's currently and the thought of leveling another makes me feel bleh. I do however still want to work on a warlock before the expansion comes out. Flying mounts in Azeroth! NAO PLZ!!!!! Props to Blizzard on all these innovative ideas.. just hurry up!

Till then stay safe adventurers! Tune in next time for my AoC review!

Special events in games can be exciting. I'm a real sucker for any in game event! I play so many games that I am always interested in what holiday events, or events in general, are out there. I've compiled my event lists into one here, with links. As time goes by, I will try to edit and add as more pop up.

Why add a special section for events? Why not!? Who doesn't love events!? For years I looked around for something similar to this, so I thought I would go ahead and do it myself. If you know of something I missed please feel free to email me or post a comment. I will be sure to add it.

/Hail! Welcome to ECTmmo!

/ooc 'WTS 2 Bags of stuff at T2!!'

You tell Kaozz, 'Where are you? I'm at T2 and I don't see you!'

Kaozz tells You, 'Oh I'm by Shady now.'

You tell Kaozz, ' I still don't c u!!'

Kaozz tells you, 'Um I just sold all my stuff.. sorry. Could I offer you a Bard's tale of lore and adventure?... OK,  I'm really a Necromancer but I can spin a great tale and sacrifice you for an essence emerald at the same time!

So maybe you won't really find me in the EC Tunnel anymore ;)

My first post is an introduction of myself and my mmorpg background. If you even know what the little "skit" was about then you have a good idea how long I've been playing and where I started!

I started out my gaming as an Everquest noobie in 2000. I was a genuine noob, the biggest noob you'd ever seen.  I started on the newbie log in Nec forest as a Dark Elven Necromancer. I can remember before starting how I made fun of people at work who played asking if they were going to "Wave a magic wand" at me. So when I actually tried it and .. *gasp* liked it, I really was shocked. I had tried it order to prove it was lame and silly. Oops.. I guess that didn't work as planned.

I've dabbled in almost everything on the market, and quite a lot of the free mmorpg's as well. If it's worth a crap, I've played it.. if it isn't.. well I've probably tried it anyway heh.

I've been in the raid scene, casual, PvP and so on. At one point my brother use to call me the walking "WoW" encyclopedia. I've been meaning for the last year to sit down and start my own place for reviews. I had started at once time and never got very far.. but this time *crosses fingers* I can actually accomplish what I set out to do!

So basically this is just a ...*cough* Blog *cough*... Yeah can ya tell I don't like to blog? So lets say.. my place to review games. On occasion I'm sure there will be a book, a movie.. or even a band I throw in just because I thought it was worth the mention. But overall this is a place for me to share my thoughts and experiences about mmorpgs.. maybe a rpg or few.. =p

So you know I've played the granddaddy game of games: EQ. I was even a guide in EQ for awhile. What do I play now? Mostly.. yeah you guessed it World of Warcraft. I currently have a few 80's, mainly playing my Priest on Silvermoon server. Lately I burn out in cycles and my playtime there has been slow so I am wanting to dabble in some other games write out some reviews of some I have played and others I am going to play.

Anyhow...  I hope you enjoy the time here. These are my opinions as a long time gamer, what I thought of each game, mechanics, feel, design etc.  Merely opinions, so just take it as you like and please feel free to comment, add me as I will be updating as often as I can! I am sure at times I will just end up blabbing about some game communities or lack of, quests, content and all that jazz. Thanks for reading :)

Safe travels to you!
