Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Just a quick post before the little boils and ghouls come to the door wanting candy. This week I've been hopping around checking out a few Halloween events in my favorite MMO games. That and watching Stranger Things 2, which is so great, it just keeps getting better and better.

October Goodies

One of my favorite projects in Rift, my 'Stranger Things' dimension. And now a favorite new mount!

I wanted to do a Halloween guide for all the cool events going on but it seems this year it has been hard to pinpoint some of the starting dates. By the time I actually got all of the dates it might be a bit late and not really worth it. Instead I thought I'd just point out and share a few thoughts on what is happening now, at least what I've had time to check out along with a few other interesting bits.

Some shots from EQ2 and one from the older sibling, EQ. This pic is of the new Mara Estate, which is a lot of room to decorate! It is a reward from the weeks of summer event, one of my favorite housing areas, it is like having your own little village to decorate.

Sweeet! Mrs. Freshley's Gifts!

Today we received two very yummy, filled to the brim, complementary packages from Mrs. Freshleys! I couldn't believe how many sweets were stuffed into those boxes. So many sweet treats, they are yummy, so hard to resist. I am really tempted by those chocolate cupcakes (watch the calories on the buns though!)! I mentioned to Dire we could send a bunch to work with him to share these and he's wanting to take just a few... I think we're in trouble!

October!

Got my Halloween garb on, my spooky scary skeleton ready...at least until this year's stuff rolls around!

October is here! That means tons of cool stuff heading to many games. EQ2 and GW2 always go all out with nonstop stuff to do. Rift has a nifty list of things to check off like achievements, goodies to collect and,  if I recall, a fun instant adventure. WoW has the tried and true headless horseman  instance (all your alts can do even the lowbies, yay), trick or treating and a lot of other stuff has been added over the years. Wildstar has a fabulous event that I urge everyone to poke in and see, they really steal the scene with the spooky decor!
