The Little Things

Charming, eh?

SWL has turned out to be a lot of fun this far, everything is fresh and new in my eyes. I would think for someone who has played through the game it may not be as exciting. I am honestly not sure the game needed to be renamed, packaged and all that. While the other game still exists, but with no future updates, it still seems a lot to do for more of a revamp. I am having fun and getting to see more of the world, which I really enjoy. The creepy atmosphere just sucks me right in and while I have moments where I get fatigued, I still find myself coming back to see more.

Secret World Legends

Secret World Legends launched this past weekend, I had been meaning to downloading it but wasn't sure who was allowed in early access. Turns out everyone was over the weekend and I had an account already so I would have been still. It was a long download, finally finishing it up I was able to jump in and see what this new version was all about before the weekend was over. I wanted to write a post yesterday but I kept playing instead, heh.

Adventure Log: GW2, ESO, EQ

Things are going pretty well in ESO, I have been messing about with Morrowind mostly with some other exploration on the side. The main story line awards some cool cosmetics, which was a neat surprise, as well as a lot of cool things to check out, lots of quests to follow around. Lots to do, lots to see.

ESO Eye Candy

Some shots today from ESO. All my screenshots use ReShade, for a more vibrant look. If you want to use my settings you can download the file here.  Enjoy the screens!

Morrowind (ESO)

Another hit of nostalgia in today's post! Morrowind is now part of ESO and I thought I'd share some of my thoughtd and images from my journey there so far. There is the new warden class, which totes along a pet bear! There is a new tutorial which lets you step off the boat as the familiar Morrowind tune plays in the background. We see some familiar places and faces, travel to the great Vivec city in Vvardenfell and meet Vivic.

Norrathian Travels (EQ)

Since starting on the new Agnarr server, we also decided to make a couple of alts on our home server. I suppose those alts on Agnarr will have to wait a while for us to get back to them, while the server is nice, the players there for Krono really seem to be taking a toll on the nostalgic feeling of the server economy. I am hoping they wade back to the waters they came from, sooner than later. Not the biggest reason not to play there full time but time restraints kick in and sometimes it is easier to log into the home server with all the comforts of modern EQ.

Agnarr! Should You Try It? (EQ)

Over the weekend Dire and I managed to hit 25 on the new EverQuest Agnarr server. After playing halfway to the current cap of 50, I have to say that this is a server that we will be playing on. But, there always is a but, with many things to consider. Once expansions unlock I think it will be better time spent because of various considerations of how the game plays, content available and mechanics which all can be pretty time consuming. Interested in my thoughts overall on the server? Read on.
