Rift: Ding 70!

Earlier this week I hit the new cap of 70 in Rift. It has been quite an enjoyable expansion so far. There have been a few hiccups, but for the most part it has been a great expansion to hop into and just go. Very classic MMO, no prerequisite content needed. No weird stats you need as you level on gear you don't have. The upgrades you get as you go are sufficient and with the right spec things start ramping up as you progress to the cap. Legendary abilities start to shine and I really like these!

Kunark Ascending- Blunt First Impression (UPDATED)

Sorry, wrong Kunark, it will be a bit before you get to see the outdoors!

Kunark Ascending launched today. It has been quite sometime since I was ready and playing at cap when an expansion launched. Sometimes it is nice to wait until the crowd thins out and all the kinks have been ironed out. Want to know what I thought so far? Read on. (Update at bottom with some notes on a few things)

Skyrim

With all the enthusiasm over the Skyrim special edition, I decided to load up my game and start a fresh character. I am not playing special edition though, just playing with several mods to improve visuals and a few fun things like mounts, pets and followers.  A refreshing game to hop into and just explore and wander around in.

Heroes' Festival

Mostly puttering around in EQ2 waiting on the expansion, decorating houses (WIP pictured above) and just goofing off in general with the Heroes' Festival. Good stuff.
