July Gaming

The past few weeks Dire and I have mostly been playing EverQuest. We started a fresh duo of enchanter and magician, getting them to 55 and we're now working on our epic 1.0. Lots of camping mobs, some items we've been able to buy on the FV server and some items we had banked. The biggest hurdle is long camp times. It has taken us to a lot of cool places, older content, which has been enjoyable to revisit. I love doing the old epic weapon quests, some I've done multiple times.

I don't know how we got back on the idea of playing again, we always seem to miss it and it is a great game to duo level, especially with mercs. In WoW things die so quickly as a duo, which isn't a bad thing but here we use some strategy and the enchanter comes in handy for multiple pulls.

Everquest is still quite populated, lots of people running around or hanging out in PoK and the guild lobby. It is nice to see so many people playing. There are still regular updates, events and progression servers, which all helps keep the game alive.

We haven't played the WoW duo much lately, over the holiday weekend we binged on Stranger Things and played a lot of EverQuest after grilling and fireworks. I stepped into the new end game content in WoW but still have yet to finish much anything with the questing. Then there is unlocking flying which I don't look forward to, heh. Plenty to do for sure.

On the side I poke around in Rift quite regularly, there isn't much new in the way of things to do, I mostly play an alt and send my minions off and sell stuff. Also Trove is pretty solid for logging in and having fun, there is no shortage on things to do in Trove, even if it is a bit repetitious it is relaxing for the most part. EQ2 has the summer event stuff out on test, which I will be checking out this week, lots of holiday stuff in EQ2 to keep things interesting all through the year.

I picked back up on GW2, playing a fresh alt is always fun. I sometimes forget how enchanting and beautiful GW2 is. A game that is so easy to get lost in while exploring the same places you've already seen. It is a great distraction to hop in and just have fun with.

Safe adventures, I am off to check an epic camp spawn!

Doing some leveling in the planes. Skinnyjeans is a name Dire had a big laugh about coming up with, lol. We still need a last name for him though >.<

Heading to the Karanas for an epic turn in. Still looks the same.

Heading to the Prince with Dire's SK to get a drop for the enchanter 1.0, we're working on his first while I do mine on the side/after. He gets so excited about this kind of stuff I figured we'd get his first, can't wait until we finish them both. Even after they are not of use you still have the title that comes with each epic you have acquired and an augment to use for the item's appearance to be used on another item.
