RL Screenshots

This weekend we went to Brazos Bend State Park, located in Texas. We had a great time, saw lots of Alligators and other wildlife too. Thought for a change I'd share some real life 'screenshots' ;)

Lots of marshy areas, lots of mosquitos!

Cute sign where we met up for a picnic.

Lovely flowers in the back there.

Me.

Dire and I.

My son trekking ahead.

Lots of lovely foliage in the water.

More lily pads.

Alligator Gar swimming around.

A gator peeking out of the water.

old tree, around 500 years or so, I was told.

The skull of a seven foot Alligator Gar! A real river monster!

Gator!

Stuffed bobcat, sadly we didn't see any real ones :(

Found this little guy outside of my house, lol.

  1. Pretty darn cool. My son for some reason likes that show Gator Boys I think it's called so he would have loved going there. We have some nice state parks kind of close, but nothing with alligators here in Northern California.

  2. Thanks! Ahh, the Carolinas, I miss them! I'm from SC, been too long since I was there. Lived right on the NC/SC border, around Charlotte. You guys have plenty of lovely scenery, we have to go so far to see trees and grass. Middleton Place in Charleston is one of my favorite places to visit, it is just gorgeous!
