GW2- Has it been three weeks already?!

Awww.. I raised that mutation by hand!

Time has flow by! I guess time does fly when you're having fun. I've managed to hit 37 with my ranger main in GW2. I've been doing a bit of reading about endgame and it seems a bit different than most MMO games, there isn't a hefty focus on it, currently there really isn't a huge amount of things to do. The game is still very new, I am sure that will come in due time. So I haven't killed myself on the rush to 80, there is no rush. People who got there in the first week, that's just rushing through the game way to fast for my tastes. I like to look around and explore, soak it all in, not rush through the content. But, to each his/her own. I want it to last me awhile.

In my lack of feeling rushed I decided to create my first alt. One that I plan on playing up, maybe alongside, maybe on the side a little here and there, maybe it will take over. I don't really know right now. I'd like to play my two chars up alongside each other, we'll see how it turns out though. I always seem to be dominated by one character, maybe Guild Wars 2 will help me get past that.

My latest alt is a necromancer. Yes, I did try the class first but I didn't get a real grasp on it, then I also didn't want to play the same race (as my main, need something fresh and new for my alt), so I made a new character, a human this time. I love the human areas a lot, I just adore the city. Plus, I can now sync dance (/dance *) with Dire. Mwahaha!

I really am enjoying my little alt, it is refreshing to change up the class. I tend to swap out the staff and scepter a lot, I have a blast with those weapons. The dagger is pretty useful as well, though I am not big into melee with this character, so I doubt I use it that much. When I go melee it will most likely be a guardian or warrior. Those two appeal to me a lot.

Anyhow, I've seen a lot of cool necro moves- by other players, awesome looking skills, pets and armor so I figured I'd go with my first impression, that it would be a strong class for me, and thus I now have my alt who is nearing level ten. Now that I have more of a grasp and a handle on how things work, I enjoy the class a lot, though my pets die quite a lot, I do a bit of drain tanking as I can. Add in the fact I can go invulnerable for a period of time, makes it pretty bad arse!

That's it for today, just a quick post before I run off to cook supper. If you play and you'd like to add me, please do- Sablesix(dot)2049. I am always up for a chat or a hello! Safe adventures!

Spectacular view from a vista!

Swimming. I think I fell or something, heh, was a nice shot.

My ranger and his trusty pet, Webster. Spiders are great pets, love to use them quite often. Ranged dmg, root, poison, can't go wrong with them, especially in world events.

Another lovely vista

Visiting some pirates, stealing their booty, or something.

A cute picture from a cut-scene.

My guardian to be, she's waiting until I get around to her, tooooooo much cuteness!

Yes, another vista, just so many great ones.

Gazing from afar, with my kitty pet.

A sleepy little village. ZzzzZZZzzz...

My necromancer, even got the name I wanted for her, Sablesix. This is the city outfit from the diamond shop, it has a lot of neat FUN abilities; summons a parrot pet for a short amount of time, short walk off a plank (hilarious), sword fight, and also summons a cannon (yes, you can shoot it). All available on your ability bar. I'd like to see outfits like this added to events and chests throughout the world.

  1. I am hooked on the structured PvP. Barely touched the PvE side of the game.

    1. Thus far I was in a PvP zone once... to charm a pet... LOL! Nobody attacked me, ran around a bit, might try some later on in the game. Enjoying PvE a lot, though GW was the game I enjoyed PvP in the most, might have to give it a try here. Met one of my best friends in a random PvP match there!
