Blog Changes and Thoughts

If you come here often, you might notice I have messed around with the look of the blog. It's slowly evolved into something I really am happy with. I just like the idea of having a unique page. I like my site to be visually enticing as well as interesting to read. So after many trials and errors I found a feel to go with the current look. I spent way too much time on it! So, I hope it is enjoyed.

If you have a large monitor like me, it will show off better. If not, it's still enjoyable. I am a bit rusty with Web Design, it's been years since I messed with anything besides Photoshop (until this blog). I'm always trying to make my site more interesting.

I have considered putting my writing to a halt as the site hasn't generated a whole lot of readers. I do it for myself, I really love it.. But some days you really notice when nobody says anything. Then you look at the most annoying or boring blogs that has oodles of comments.. A real downer. I've only been blogging for about six months now, so I will continue to give it some time. It does take time and effort to write, some days are better than others I suppose. I guess I will have to evaluate how much it means to me when it all comes down to it.

I do have another game on the horizon I'll be writing about later on this week. I have not had much time to play so far though. An oldie but goodie. I don't always play the most popular games, I play what I like- I've been there and done that. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the look.. and the reads.

  2. Regarding your blog, I guess you need to think on why you are writing the blog? With my gaming website their have been many months when I didn't receive comments. It really didn't matter to me. Although I made my gaming blog public, I was basically writing for myself and inviting people to take a peek at my thoughts.

A few of my other websites don't get a lot of comments. They are extremely informative/instructional in nature, but they are highly trafficked websites.

I don't always comment on other peoples blogs. Even those I visit frequently via my RSS feed. I might like the post, but at times I really don't have anything to add to the conversation so instead of giving a canned response such as 'Hey that's great' or something to that effect, I don't write anything but that's me not everyone is like that.

I always visit people that stop by my blog, if they are a first time visitor I will go out of my way to find a post that I do find interesting and leave a comment. Many times they end up on my blogroll.

As old EQ2 player, it's nice to hear from anyone still playing and even I've never play WoW (devil's game) most of the other blogs around are about it.

I promise to read every blog...honest injun! (no offense to any native americans out there!)

  8. Aw thanks Greywulf! I'm not going anywhere for now. I suppose sometimes I can be a big baby=p

I tend to write about a lot of games which might not always appeal to everyone, so I tend not to focus on just one.

You have a nice site as well, added ya to my blog roll today. I don't currently play AoC but I did for awhile and still enjoy reading about it :D
