The Best Android Games Of All Time

No matter what you’re into, from new online casinos to word-searches. There is an Android game to suit you and your budget, some free, some with in-app purchases but all extremely enjoyable.

The Best Android Games Of All Time

There are loads of round-ups of the best Android games on the internet, so what makes ours different? Well, we’ve included not only the most recent trending games, new online casinos but also our favorite titles of all time - the ones we go back to, despite them being old. These classic games never get old and go out of fashion.

Try these for size…..

The Asphalt

The Asphalt is a franchise that has some of the tablet’s most popular racing games. Asphalt, Asphalt 8, and Asphalt Xtreme are the popular ones in the series. The Asphalt is the most recent game in the series including 50 cars, lots of challenges, and a plethora of content to enjoy.

That includes online multiplayer, single-player action, and it uses an auto-go mechanism so you can’t control your acceleration which is a shame. The graphics are fantastic, and there are social elements at play as well. It’s a freeish game.

Because of this, the online competitive aspect isn’t right. However, the single-player stuff is okay as arcade racing games go. You can also skip in-app purchases if you want too and we suggest you do.

Alto’s Odyssey

Alto’s Odyssey is an excellent choice for an Android game, and it’s free. Featuring simple mechanics, gorgeous graphics, and a relaxing style, players ski down a hill while avoiding obstacles and making massive jumps.

There are also items to collect and trade in for various customisation options and upgrades, and the game relies heavily on its detailed graphics. They are useful, and the dark colours add a good atmosphere for the game.

It’s free to download and play with some ads but not many. There are in-app purchases, but the investments are all for customisation stuff, and it’s optional, and it doesn’t affect gameplay if you don’t use it. It’s child friendly and fun and a fantastic choice.

Fortnite

After months of mobile exclusivity on iOS, Fortnite is now also available to download on Android.

If you've been living under a rock for the past year and are unaware of Fortnite, the concept is simple; drop down into the map, scavenge for weapons and materials and, using a combination of crafting and shooting, fight to be the last player standing.

You're able to access the same 100-player Battle Royale that's available on consoles with the same visual quality.  Fortnite is the most popular Battle Royale game out, and with a variety of imagery and the continual introduction of new game modes, it's not difficult to figure out why.

Ark: Survival

Back in 2015, Ark: Survival Evolved entered the Early Access system on Steam intending to come to PC and Mac. Three years later and Ark has conquered not only PC but Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and even smartphones on iOS and Android.

It’s one of the most well developed open world games we’ve seen available on Android, boasting a vast open vista that you can explore by land, sea and air, and over 90 extinct animals for you to discover, fight, tame and breed.

You can craft and build your shack, or work with friends online as a Tribe to build bigger and better dwelling. You can unlock a range of armory, from regular spears to high-tech killer weapons, and you can even ride some of the dinosaurs. What more could you want from an open-world game?

PUBG Mobile

Does this game need an introduction? The smash battle royale game that was released in 2017 is now available on your mobile form for both Android and IOs gamers. It’s not free, but it is ad-free.

Don’t assume the game is poor on a mobile device, and the F2P mobile game features mechanics we’d love to see transferred to the main game. Most notably looting and other useful attachments and items that can be automatically picked up and armed ready for use.

Aside from the mechanics, the shooter isn’t as hard to use, it, of course, has a learning curve, but once you’re used to the positioning of the on-screen controls and the movement mechanics, you’ll be playing with the big boys.

Whatever you decide to play we know you’re going to have fun, just don't forget to report back.
