Shadow Kings

I had a chance to check out Shadow Kings by Goodgame Studios, which is a really cute and whimsical game. It is available on android and PC, though the games don't carry over from one device to the other. I checked it out on the PC, got a feel for it to see what it was about. Sometimes it is just nice to play something rather relaxing.

The game released this month so it is pretty new. There is plenty to do as it is a casual oriented game, something great to do in your free time if you want to chill out in front of the computer for a while or just have a few minutes to kill. If you like building and decorating it offers some fun to be had. Especially if you're feeling rather burnt out on MMO games, something like this is great when you still want to play something.

Basically it is a building and strategy game. It has a fresh and easy tutorial, which leads you through the game with ease. The game looks adorable, very lively and the map has a nice feel to it. The style of the UI is light and easy on the eyes, without leaving the screen feeling cluttered. Music is charming and fitting to the look and feel of the game. The game is set within a fantasy setting with colorful and stylized graphics. Not intensive on devices, which is always a plus!

The game offers a currency system which can speed things up or you can play at a slower pace. All depends on what you want to do. Shadow Kings is free to play directly from your browser at Gamesfreak, so overall there isn't anything to lose.
