Under The Weather

Sorry for the lack of posts, to those few of you who read ;) I recently started a new medication and have been under the weather due to a bad reaction, which I am still recovering from. I've not felt much like playing anything, or actually been able to honestly. Last night I could actually sit and just follow Dire around in EQ to get a PL session, that is about all I was able to do. I have to get an EKG later on today just to make sure nothing is wrong.

Basically I had a bad reaction to (prescription) amphetamines for my Attention Defect Disorder, a small dose at that. I've had a lot on my mind, wondering if I will be able to 'medically' treat the ADD even with non-stimulant medication if it causes such elevations with my heart.  I'm still having pain/numbness in my arm and fingers, so I don't know what is going on. We'll see what the doc says today. So, yeah, that's pretty much what has been keeping me occupied lately. Anyhow, keeping the mind busy is always something that feels good to me, I always have to be doing something, just a short post though!

Vanguard! I'm still playing. I did manage to pop in and check out the anniversary stuff last week. Some real cool gifts. If you haven't checked it out, there is some neat stuff, head to New Targonor, right outside at the bridge entrance, talk to the Historian. Vet rewards are back as well, yay! Wednesday there will be an in-game party, great time to use 'Slappy the Cool' (my new ringtone in that video), lol. Everything can be previewed in the patch notes here.

I have to say the population in Vanguard seems to be growing. I see so many people all over these days. It is really great to see! I run across more people on my travels, I've even had a few people as me to group. My cleric is only 15, so you can tell I have not been able to play much since he was created.

I'm also considering checking out the Lunar Festival in WoW, with my hunter. Should be something laid back and easy to do. I need something casual, that won't tax me, so I look forward to checking that out. And Rift, I want to just pop in and dabble with my house. Really don't know how long I'll be able to do much for, but it is nice to have options for something laid back.

That's it for today! It is good to be alive, good to have so many wonderful choices of games, good to be posting! Have a great week!

  1. I think most hardcore MMO players have some sort of game ADD. So many MMOs, so little time! Seriously, I hope everything turns out ok and just get better, cause those games can't play themselves!

    1. Hehe, yeah probably so :) Thank you, Jay! Everything seems to be ok, just a matter of getting recuperated!
