FW is pretty close to WoW down to the LFD and daily scene. Both are good just depends if you want something more old school or something closer to WoW.

I enjoy both they have lovely scenery, PW is more themed with oriental art and music and FW is a bit more modern yet taking on a classic medieval feel.

Both have auction/broker systems (unlimited use) and personal stalls, which is something you don't always see in FTP games.

I'd have to say PWI has the steeper learning curve but it is still really fun. Both are very popular and have decent populations, I see tons of newbies in both.kaozzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15058067791146704803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1787395619953110652.post-59418435823523958152012-02-06T19:17:36.363-06:002012-02-06T19:17:36.363-06:00Out of curiosity, what is the difference between P...Out of curiosity, what is the difference between Perfect World and Forsaken World? The differences between the Cryptic games make sense to me, and I can see where some of PW's various games have specific niches (e.g. action) but they've got half a dozen titles and I have no idea which one I'd try next if I was going to go beyond STO.Green Armadillohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15564045048380177626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1787395619953110652.post-89179476879900402552012-02-06T15:50:03.944-06:002012-02-06T15:50:03.944-06:00Hope to get one up by the end of the week, depends...Hope to get one up by the end of the week, depends on how things go this week with playing but it should be something interesting if just showing some massive trains, lol.

it really is a great game, even after all these years. The game has evolved but it has changed for the good. I think the F2P version will be really good to bring people in to check it out. Let me know if you decide to when it switches XDkaozzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15058067791146704803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1787395619953110652.post-7296602022477346732012-02-06T13:59:52.779-06:002012-02-06T13:59:52.779-06:00I wouldn't mind seeing some of those EQ vids y...I wouldn't mind seeing some of those EQ vids you mentioned. EQ1 was something I always wanted to give a decent try, but never had the time/money to see much of it. Seeing some higher level gameplay before the f2p conversion would be great. :)Professerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11260406570968051832noreply@blogger.com
