Chasing The Unicorn

"Perhaps that's why we chase every new game almost before it appears, hoping we'll catch the unicorn by the tail and swing back astride before it vanishes around the corner, yet again. All we get are a few strands of silver that quickly lose their shine or, worse, a thumping kick, a humiliating stumble, a painful fall."- Bhagpuss

Casual MMO Stroll

I love this mount! RAWR!

My recent return to WoW, via the free seven days, was pretty fun. I managed to get a bunch of cool mounts. I also had the chance to check out 6.2, which, overall, was a nice return. WoW is always easy to hop back into. Being gone for a few months gives me plenty to catch up on, especially my neglected garrisons. I do wish we could access them with a mobile app too.

Sigh... DBG

All of the DBG games are getting DDOS attacked. Apparently the CEO, John Smedley, has upset some people with his tweeting. Honestly, I think personal matters should be taken elsewhere as now it is the players/customers who are suffering the brunt of it, and possibly the company. I feel for the guy, going though personal attacks and all he's been through with this ordeal. But he's clearly not acting professional.

Gliding Along In The Galaxy

We just went through a grueling move. It's taken a week to stop feeling so tired! That and things that can go wrong, they always seem to go wrong. So, that's the biggest reason for the huge lack of any posts recently. Packing wasn't fun, and I still have SO much unpacking to do. Anyhow, I'm still playing stuff to unwind, which is always like home away from home, visiting my favorite games. Which is always a comfort. Plus, we had to put down one of our little ferrets as he was very ill.  Draining.
